This Coffee Table design is inspired by George Nakashima, architect and famous woodworker. This piece has been sold however I can would love to make one for you! The price is an estimate depending on the size and base you would like.
This piece is milled from a Walnut storm tree that fell in Washington, OK. We milled and air dried the lumber in a controlled environment from start to finish. It's handcrafted with bridal joints and a bow-tie key to reinforce it at the crack. Finished with a oil base hard wax of the highest quality. The measurements are 60" long, a variable depth of 23"-28" wide, and a height of approximately 18".
This is an heirloom piece of furniture that I anticipate lasting 100's of years. The figure in Walnut from this tree is extrodinary with an array of colors that really present a fine piece of furniture and art.
